All tiles used in the installations below were donated by Rich Moorhead owner of Art of Board. You really need to check out his website.
Rich makes his tiles out of recycled skateboard decks. He has even started a recycling movement through his I ride I recycle program.
here's a bit of information about the program I cut and pasted from his website . rich, hope you don't mind.
I ride I recycle mission.
To keep broken skateboards out of landfills and appreciate them as the works of art that they are – to transcend a rider’s environmental footprint, enhance social consciousness and achieve high design. We give ownership to every skateboard manufacturer, shop owner and individual rider by providing real solutions to an industry known for its positive culture to create meaningful impact through charitable causes.
Charities I ride I recycle (and ultimately, you) proudly support.
